Today I’m sharing the outfits I wore on vacation to Turks and Caicos!!! 🙂 It was aaamazing and such a dream. I wore a couple more pieces than what I share in this post, but I decided not to include them because I didn’t like them. I don’t want to share anything that I don’t recommend!
For the Plane Ride There and Back
I paired this white t-shirt with pink drawstring shorts and gold jewelry for the plane ride. These shorts are from Amazon and they’re one of my favorite Amazon finds! They’re a nice length, they’re super comfortable, they come in lots of colors, and they have big pockets. I think they’re really flattering too because they don’t bunch up a ton around the waist!
For Dinner/Shopping
My favorite outfit on the trip was this one! The skort is from Zara and linked here. There’s also a similar one from Express, which is linked below the photo. I have a hard time finding skirts that I like, but this skort is perfect! The fabric has some stretch to it and it has some pretty detailing: the bow at the waist and ruffle along the bottom both make it really feminine!
My bag is less than $20 and it was such a last minute buy! I was checking out at H+M a few days before the trip and saw it hanging by the register. I grabbed it without much thought, and it turned out to be so handy for the trip! It folded up nice and flat and fit in my carry-on perfectly. The resort was across the street from the beach, and it carried everything needed for a day on the beach 🙂
Bathing Suit Cover Up
This bathing suit cover-up is actually a babydoll dress intended for everyday wear, but I thought it looked really cute over swimsuits! I sized up to a medium because it’s 100% cotton and I wanted it to stay a nice length after washing it. The material is nice and thick, and the dress itself makes for a cute everyday summer dress! As a cover-up, it’s perfect for a day at the beach and going straight to a restaurant to eat.
Bathing Suits
The first bathing suit I wore was an Amazon find. It’s a bright pink with oranges all over, but it’s also available in lots of other colors and prints! The bottoms of this bikini are my favorite part. I love how there’s a ruffle that goes all the way around! It also has full coverage in the back. The straps on the top of this bikini are removable, so there’s an option to wear it strapless. The top did run a little big for me so I wasn’t able to wear it strapless, but other than that, I really liked this bikini!
The ruffled one piece swimsuit is from Zara and the exact one is linked here. This was my favorite swimsuit on the trip! The huge ruffle along the top is sturdy and holds its shape even after getting wet. It’s a little cheeky in the back, but I still felt really comfortable in it! It also has a rubber lining along the inside of the top so it doesn’t slide down.
The third swimsuit I wore was this two-piece scalloped bikini (yes, that is a goggle mark on my forehead haha! I wore this swimsuit to go snorkeling). I really like the one shoulder look with this set! It does not have any pads, but that was the only thing I’d change about this swimsuit.
And that’s the roundup! My Turks + Caicos Travel Guide will be ready next week 🙂 Until Monday!
