Balloon Sleeve Floral Dress

Hi friends! Today’s look is another outfit idea for Valentine’s day. It’s a balloon sleeve floral dress with gathering along the bodice and a tulip-shaped hem. A full floral pattern can easily overpower the garment it shapes, but this tulip-shaped hem really helps to break up the fabric. I love that the skirt drapes into the hem with the illusion of a wrap dress, yet it’s structured enough that it won’t open to expose anything. The gathering on the bodice of this dress blends into the skirt and gives the dress a little more texture and movement. It also has a square neckline in the front and back, which is a flattering feature on a variety of body types.

My shoes are from Amazon, although I’ve seen a lot of similar pairs from different stores. I purchased these last spring and I think they’re so fun! To be honest, it took a couple wears to get used to. You definitely have to make sure to tie them tight in order for them to stay on, but once you get the hang of it, they’re really fun to wear!

That’s it for today 🙂 I’m so glad you stopped by today and I hope to have you again on Friday!
