Gift Guide for Mom

Happy Wednesday! Today’s post is a gift guide for the mom, mother in law, or any mother figures in your life 🙂 Moms are so hard to shop for (at least mine is lol) and I hope this helps!

  1. Customized Calendar – this takes a little time and thought to make, which can make some of the best gifts! Especially to moms 🙂 and it lasts all year too!
  2. Kate Spade Purse – if your mom is anything like mine, she won’t buy herself expensive or designer things even though she so deserves it. This Kate Spade comes in a few colors and is a great size to carry around all day!
  3. Weekender Bag – for the mom that wants to get away! This weekender bag is more affordable than most and a good size to bring on a little trip.
  4. Bath Tray – if your mom loves to take baths, this tray will up her game! It has a spot for a wine glass, book, tablet, and more. It rests on the side of the bath tub and is adjustable to fit different widths.
  5. Blue Light Blocking Glasses – these help so much when looking at your phone or laptop, and they’re inexpensive to gift. If your mom is in front of the screen most days, these would be a good gift for her!
  6. Customized Robe – a cozy robe that’s personalized with her initials to make every day *spa day*
  7. Freezable Wine Glasses – to keep her wine or frozen drinks at the perfect temperature! Or if your mom is more into beer, there’s also frozen mugs 🙂

That’s all for today! See you Friday 🙂

Gift Guide for the Beauty Lover

Happy Monday! Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? I’m just starting this week and I’m so excited!

Here are some gift ideas for the beauty lovers on your list:

  1. Dr. Jart Vidal Hydra Solution face mask – this mask feels amazing and is super moisturizing! It’s not really expensive either, so it would be the perfect stocking stuffer or add-on to another gift.
  2. Tula Glow & Get It Eye Balm – this under eye balm is a nice discovery gift! It’s made with caffeine, so it truly helps you wake up in the morning. It also brightens your under eye, which is nice if your recipient has dark under eye circles.
  3. Mark & Graham Travel Jewelry Case – one of my best investments has been in a travel jewelry case. Aside from using it on overnight trips, a travel jewelry case is great for everyday too! I keep mine in my purse for whenever I want to take my jewelry off. It’s really convenient if you go to the gym and then work, so your jewelry is always in one place. This one is customizable too, so you can put the recipient’s initials on it!
  4. Nano Titanium 1″ Tapered Curling Wand – I’ve had this curling iron for years and use it multiple times a week. It works great and makes a nice gift too!
  5. Makeup Brushes – I don’t personally own this set, but I do use the same brand every day. They’ve lasted me years, work great, and are really pretty!
  6. Clinique Happy Perfume – This perfume comes with a large bottle and a travel size. If the recipient likes sweet citrusy fragrances, this is the perfume for her! This is my everyday perfume and it smells exactly like it’s labelled – happy 🙂
  7. Silk Pillowcases – my favorite kind of gifts are the ones you use everyday that you never knew you needed. Silk pillowcases are a small luxury and nice to have, especially since they’re good for your skin and hair!
  8. Bite Beauty Lip Crayon – this is my all time favorite lipstick. It stays on all day and comes in so many flattering colors! My personal favorite is the color Glace. They are so worth the price!

I hope this helps you when shopping – whether there’s something directly on this list or you now have an idea of what to get! I’m working on more gift guides that will be up this week 🙂 Until Wednesday!

Sweater Dress + Cut-Out Booties

Cheers to Friday!

Today’s outfit is a sweater dress from ASOS that I’ve paired with cut-out booties. I love that this dress looks like two different pieces! The top is really well constructed. It’s lined, making it thicker and feel high quality. The neckline ends at a comfortable place too – it’s not too low and I don’t have to worry about flashing anyone lol. The skirt definitely needs a slip under the skirt as it’s only one layer and see-through. I recommend wearing a longer slip than what I have on. I wish I had taken the time to find the right length of slip, but such is life lol. Typically I don’t like wearing skin tight dresses, but this one is comfortable since the top is so loose! I think this dress is perfect for holiday parties or church ceremonies 🙂

Thank you for stopping by to read about today’s outfit! I’m currently planning next week’s content, which will either be 3 more outfits or different gift guides. Stay tuned for Monday!
