Hey friends! I’m really excited about today’s post because it’s my first one with an original design. I made this top last week and I’m so happy with how it came out!! It’s not perfect, but it’s a step closer to where I want to be. I’m working on starting the 2nd half of this project this week! Sewing is an escape for me and I love the entire process. From sketching the idea to stitching the last seams together, I love all the creativity and thoughtfulness that goes into it!

I like the frayed edges and how they can easily be dressed up or down. The scarf in my hair is from World Market and oh my! I rediscovered that store recently and I forgot how fun it is. I’ll be visiting it more often!
